Submit a Prayer Request

Messiah Episcopal Church is a community that believes in prayer. We support one another in prayer, both informally and through vehicles such as the Prayer Chain, a group of people commissioned for the ministry of praying for others.

Messiah parishioners are invited to use this online form to submit prayer requests for themselves, their relatives and friends, to the Messiah Prayer Chain. Your request will be shared only with Prayer Chain members. Please be sure that if you submit a prayer request on someone else's behalf, you check with them to be sure they are willing to have their concern shared with the Prayer Chain.

Non-urgent requests will be forwarded to the Prayer Chain at least once every 24 hours, in the evening. If your request is urgent, it will be sent directly to Messiah staff; however, please reserve the urgent button for true emergencies.

Prayer requests may also be submitted via the purple request forms located in the church pews, or via notes placed in the prayer request lock box at the back of the sanctuary. (Please note that such requests are collected on Thursdays and Sundays only, and will therefore be forwarded to Prayer Chain members on the evening of those days.)
