You can connect to huge resources through the internet. There are sites for Christian organizations, publications, and discussion groups. For example two large "ports of entry" are: www.gospelcom.net and www.oneplace.com. We suggest you consider owning a personal study Bible and offer the following order of popularity of translation or version:

FIRST CHOICE: NewRSV New Revised Standard Version - for accuracy, wide acceptance.

SECOND CHOICE: NIV New International Version - for its readability.

There are 15 other primary versions of the Bible published and sold in the United States. Among them are:
