Oh REALLY? If you feel this way or if you know someone
who feels this way and you are willing to talk about it
with others then you will find the Alpha discussion very
stimulating indeed. First of all what is it exactly that
makes Christianity true - if it is true? Given that
Christianity has some basis in truth why should it apply
to so many of today’s challenging issues and social
contexts? And then what really are the outcomes of
following a Christian search for meaning in life?
Perhaps you would like to participate with a cross
section of interested inquirers in working out this
discussion. In the process you can hear first hand the
experiences of some Messiah members who have grown with
Christ. As they tell of their personal trials and
victories you will find a real basis for asking the
pertinent questions.
Whatever comes to mind as the subjects are introduced,
you will be encouraged to reason through the relevant
application. And you can hear what others think about the
points explained. Application to real life is the goal of
the Alpha program.
