We’re coming out of the darkness of winter, and yearning for the light. But what if your soul still feels trapped in the shadows? Sometimes our faith has seasons of darkness, whether it’s tragedy or hardship or just the malaise of daily struggles. Join us as local author Addie Zierman talks about faith when God feels far off and shares from her forthcoming book, Night Driving: Faith in the Dark.
This Lenten conversation will be held at Messiah Episcopal Church (get directions) on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Street parking is available. Light refreshments will be served.
Addie Zierman is a writer, blogger and speaker. Publisher’s Weekly named her debut memoir, When We Were On Fire, one of the “101 Best Books of 2013.” Her writing has appeared in Relevant, MOPS magazines, and Christianity Today’s women’s blog Her.meneutics.
